Always a Difficult Choice to Make

For golfing enthusiasts, the Barossa has a choice of four clubs from which you can choose to spend time. Each has manicured greens, lush fairways, clubhouse and native wildlife roaming over the course. You will find it difficult to choose a favourite as each is unique and offers a great day golfing.

Tanunda Pines Golf Course

Tanunda Pines Golf Club is a stunning 18 hole, par 72, championship golf course set in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Home to an abundance of native bird and animal life, one hundred year old gum trees line fairways that undulate across hilltops with views over Jacob’s Creek and St Hallett vineyards from several vantage points.

Established in 1938, this now privately owned public access course has recently undergone a transformation with the introduction of six newly designed holes, elevating it to one of Australia’s finest regional woodlands golf courses.

The club also hosts events such as the Jacobs Creek Classic, the Holden Scramble, as well as the Men’s Senior Legends PGA Pro-Am tour and many other smaller and more intimate annual events for members, visitors and groups.

Barossa Valley Golf Course (Nuriootpa)

The Barossa Valley Golf Club boasts a 6026 metre, par 72 course. Many visitors consider the greens some of the best and most consistent they have played. The fairways seem generous, but the rough can be punishing and some well-placed bunkers guard the fairways and greens. The tees are well made. Players have the use of a practice fairway, putting green, a practice bunker and chipping green.

We welcome everyone to play at Barossa Valley Golf Club. Play is available 7 days a week subject to course availability.

The Barossa Valley Golf Club Nuriootpa has a fully stocked golf shop providing club, buggies, cart hire as well and clothing, golf balls and accessories to get you underway.
